Ingredients

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups water room temperature

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, salt, and yeast together in a large mixing bowl. Once combined, add in the water and mix until just combined. You might need to add a little more water to make sure it's wet throughout.

  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap for at least 12 hours at room temperature.

  3. Place a cast iron dutch oven in your oven while you preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Meanwhile, cover a surface liberally with flour and carefully scape your dough onto the floured surface. Roll it around gently--do not knead the dough--until the outside is covered with flour. Transfer the dough to on top of a piece of parchment paper.

  4. When your oven is heated to 450, take the dutch oven out (carefully!) and place the parchment paper with the dough on top to the dutch oven. Place the cover on the dutch oven and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the top and bake for 10 more minutes! Let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
