Pinch of Yum is one of my favorite blogs both for her amazing photos and…of course…the food. I stumbled across her magic green sauce and decided to try it out myself and, well.. it was gone in a few days!
I used this sauce for my Quinoa Burrito Bowl but you can just about put this on anything…grilled chicken, steak, quesadillas, etc. My favorite part is that it contains no dairy!
I didn’t change much to this recipe (don’t mess with a good thing!). Here is it:
Avocado Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 1 cup packed cilantro leaves
- 1 jalapeño ribs and seeds removed
- 2 large cloves garlic
- 2 limes juiced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 heaping teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1/2 cup pistachios
Instructions
-
Add everything to a blender or food processor and blend (yeah...that's it).
Recipe Notes
I like to store this in a mason jar in my fridge or you can even freeze it and save it for later!
EN -JOY!
