Why is this called “nice cream” and not “ice cream”? It’s because the base is made entirely of frozen bananas so no cream or sugar so you can eat this guilt free!
I was inspired by this new drink I discovered at a NYC event showcasing up and coming brands called Tohi (@drinktohi) which uses a berry called “Aronia” which tastes like a mix between a grape and a blueberry but has much more health benefits. For example, it has almost FOUR times the antioxidants of blueberries (and twice that of acai)! I love that they are 100% natural, low calorie (40 calories per bottle) and naturally sweetened with Monk Fruit (cool, right!?)
They’re too tart to eat on their own which is why you’ve never seen them in the grocery store but now Tohi has made their health and nutritient benefits available in their four different flavored drinks! I used the Blackberry Raspberry flavor to add to this “nice cream”!

- 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

-
You can enjoy right away or place into a metal ice cream tray and freeze for later!
