This recipe is one that I make often for myself at home or bring to the office for breakfast! It’s easy to make and can be made as overnight oats. too!
I pretty much eat oatmeal every other morning (which is highly correlated with how much sleep I got the night before) and this is one of my go-to ways to prepare my oatmeal 🙂
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup quick oats
- 1 banana mashed
- 1/2 cup non-dairy milk I used almond
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon agave or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt optional
Toppings
- 1 banana sliced
- 1 small handful dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Overnight oats

Combine all ingredients into a mason jar or tupperware. Mix well and place in the fridge overnight.

Optional: top with sliced banana and dark chocolate chips
Quick oats

Combine all ingredients into a small saucepan and simmer for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
