Snapfish: product review

I had some serious fun creating my own customized products on Snapfish! Read more to see everything I made…

I’ll start by saying that I’ve never used a site like Snapfish before, so I was pretty excited when I decided to work with them to create some foodie products to share with you all!

I made three items: a beach towel (because summer, duh), a recipe book using my top favorite recipes from my blog, and some coasters because you can never have too many!

First off, the process to make everything is so user-friendly. I also appreciated that these items are very customizable…BUT if that scares you, then they also have a ton of pre-existing templates and designs to help those who aren’t as creative 🙂 !

Okay now let’s check out how adorable this beach towel is! It’s pretty soft and I liked that its on the thinner side because it was easy to stuff in my backpack for a recent weekend beach trip. I used their pre-existing sprinkles background and then over-layed some text and my logo:

Next, which was definitely the coolest (at least for me!) was making my own cookbook! Snapfish provides you with the structure and all I had to do was change the text and add my own photos to go along with the recipe. It really came out beautiful and would be SUCH a cool present to give to someone. I can imagine this being a great bridal shower gift, birthday present, fathers or mother’s day, or just a nice gesture of passing down family recipes to your family members!

The only caveat here is that if you don’t have high-resolution photos, you can’t make your photos that large without getting an error message. If you’re using cell phone photos, for example, I would suggest either making your photos a bit smaller than the page or including multiple small photos–and then add some of their pre-existing art like fruit or veggies.

Lastly, I made some coasters… because they were so easy to make and so functional in my apartment! Tip: leave some extra space around the edges, mine seemed to fit online but when I received them it was cut off a bit on top:

This was a really fun process and the sky is really the limit on what you can create and customize on their site! This is just three items but they have SO much more, like cutting boards, photo albums, coffee mugs, etc. I’ll definitely be using Snapfish again to make some beautiful gifts for my friends and family!
