Perfect Soft "Boiled" Eggs

Ingredients

  • Eggs fresh or store bought
  • Water
  • Ice
  • Optional: kosher salt & freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1.  If you're using All-Clad's Prep&Cook, place 3 cups of water into the main then place the steamer bin inside and close the lid. Turn the machine on then select "steam" function and change the time to 8 minutes. Hit the start button and walk away!

  2. If you're using a regular pot, fill with water and wait for it to boil. Place a steamer over top and steam eggs for approximately 7-8 minutes with a lid covering the pot.
  3.  When the eggs are finished, place them into an ice bath (ice cubes and water in a mixing bowl). Let them sit for about 8-10 minutes then carefully peel.

  4. That's it folks...enjoy them either on their own or on some avocado toast, on top of a salad, in a bowl of soup, or however else your heart desires!
