I make oatmeal for breakfast pretty regularly, so I decided to switch it up a bit and make a chocolate one!
I’ve recently been collaborating with Detox Organics, a plant-based supplement that helps with eliminating toxins, boosting energy and lessening inflammation. I’ve incorporated this chocolate powder into this recipe to help with digestion and staying balanced!
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3 cups nut milk I used hazelnut, but you can use almond milk, cashew milk, etc.
- 1 scoop Detox Organics Superfood Daily or sub chocolate protein powder
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder
- 1 dash cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon agave
Optional toppings:
- Banana sliced
- Raspberries
Instructions
-
Combine all ingredients into a small/medium sized sauce pan and stir until well combined. On medium heat, simmer until the oats have absorbed the milk about 5-8 minutes--stir occasionally.
-
Transfer to a bowl and add optional toppings!
