The recipe I followed can be found at food & wine. I did make some slight changes by adding in some chili powder and forgoing the coriander.
Spicy Honey Glazed Bacon
- 1 pound thick cut bacon
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch chili pepper
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and place bacon on top.
Combine honey, cayenne and chili powder in a small pot and stir on low heat until honey is melted, about 1 minute.
Brush spiced honey onto one side of the bacon and bake for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
